location- This hotel is located in the south of Amsterdam, close to the highway on the inside of the ring road and 10 minutes by tram #1 to the Leidseplein and 20 minutes by tram #1 and #17 to Central Station. It is also close to Lelylaan train station which takes less than 10 minutes to Schiphol. It is also within walking distance to the beautiful Vondel Park which takes 20 minutes by foot to the Leidseplein, PC Hoofstraat and the Museumplein. rooms- The medium sized bedrooms all benefit from double glazing and have recently been redecorated to a very high standard with bright colours, predominantly reds and yellows. The bathrooms are also in very good condition and are with shower only. restaurant- The restaurant is located off the lobby and is very cosy with dark wood furniture. The bar is also incorporated into the restaurant with a juke box and plasma tv on the wall. The restaurant is open throughout the whole day and offers a Dutch/International menu. In the summer months, there is also a small patio where one can have a drink or something to eat. exterior- This is a purpose built, modern building. lobby- The lobby is small with limited seating but there is also a small lounge/library which offers further comfortable seating and free interent access. general- This is a lovely little property offering the personal touch and is ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but within very easy access. jg/08/2005. 1 kms to city centre. 7 kms to the nearest airport (amsterdam). 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station (helylaan).
